IoTM Privacy Policy

IoTM Solutions Ltd.  (“IoTM” or the “Company”) is committed to protecting the privacy of Organizations and individuals accessing the Company’s online services through the  Company’s websites (“Users” and/or “Customers”). This Privacy Statement describes IoTM’s privacy policy and practices in relation to the use of the Company’s websites and the related applications and services offered by IoTM (the “Services”).

This Privacy Policy statement covers the data use and information practices of websites that link to this Privacy Statement, including the following non definitive list of sites and online applications: www.iotm.mobi, https://app.iotm.mobi/ and other IoTM related reseller and/ or OEM websites.  (collectively referred to as the “Company’s websites”).

The Company’s websites may contain links to other websites. The information practices or the content of such other websites is governed by the privacy statements of such other websites. The Company encourages you to review the privacy statements of other websites to understand their information and privacy practices.

2. Information We Collect

Information that you give us:

Our services require you to sign up online and create an organizational account for your Company. When you do, we’ll ask for some organizational information like the Company name and also personal information like your name and a valid email address. There is also an option for you to submit additional corporate information like a corporate address and phone number.

The Company name and user email are used by us to create an organizational account in our system that will later contain data that you allow us to collect through the Connected Device Platform (“CDP) accounts that you register in our system and also to govern the access rights to this data. After signing up an organizational account and verification of the username email address of the initial primary administrator user for that account, you will be asked to register your first CDP account on the platform.

A CDP account if a set of credentials given to you by a Connectivity Service Provider (“CSP”) such as a Mobile Network Operator (“MNO”) that allows us to access and retrieve the following information if it is available through the CDP APIs that can be accessed with the credentials provided to us by the customer during CDP account registration:

  1. SIM subscription inventory identifiers (e.g. ICCID, IMSI, MSISDN);
  2. SIM subscription activation modes;
  3. Tariffs and price plans;
  4. Mobile bearer usages for data, SMS, voice and CSD both historic and ongoing. Note that we do not collect the actual contents of the data, SMS voice or CSD transfers. We only collect metadata related to the usage volumes and timestamps.
  5. CSP invoicing information;
  6. Audit trail of changes done to the subscription inventory.
  7. Any tagging information associated with SIM cards or devices in your CDP account or tagging information you upload through the Company website.

Our platform synchronizes and processes this information to offers you an aggregated set of online business solutions and applications based on this data processing.

We treat all this information as personal information and it is not shared with a third party.

Information we collect while you use our online web applications

Information we get from your use of our services. We collect information about the services that you use and how you use them, like when and where you login from, what kind of device and browser you use, the length of your session and the client side API calls made to our platform. We do this typically to secure the access to our services and to create and audit the activity on our system for both security and error resolution purposes. This information includes:

  1. Device Information: Operating system, public IP address and client device browser fingerprint.
  2. Location Information: public IP to location resolution.
  3. Cookies that identify a unique authenticated session with our platform which are a prerequisite to access our services.
  4. Google Analytics related Cookies to monitor page access on our website.
  5. Browser local storage to save display preferences on a specific browser instance.

We treat all this information as personal information and it is not shared with a third party.

 

3. How We Use The Information We Collect

The organizational and personal user information you give us is used to create your account on the Services and govern secure access to the account and any information in it.

When expressing an interest in obtaining additional information about the Services or registering to use the Services, IoTM requires you to provide the Company with personal contact information, such as name, company name and a valid email address (“Required Contact Information”). When purchasing the Services, IoTM may require you to provide the Company with financial qualification and billing information, such as the rate plans and tariffs and other terms and conditions you might have with your CSP and the approximate size of your deployment and usages extent (“Qualification Information”). Required Contact Information and Qualification Information are referred to collectively as “Data About IoTM Customers”.

As you navigate the Company’s websites, IoTM may also collect information through the use of commonly-used information-gathering tools, such as cookies and Web beacons (“website Navigational Information”). website Navigational Information includes standard information from your Web browser (such as browser type and browser language), your Internet Protocol (“IP”) address, and the actions you take on the Company’s websites (such as the Web pages viewed and the links clicked). Session cookies

Required session cookies enable you to sustain a session with the Company’s websites and use its features, such as accessing secure areas of the websites and using IoTM Services. There is no option to opt out of using these cookies since the session with the IoTM servers will be lost and the user will be reverted back to the login view.

Google analytics

The company also uses “ga_” (Google Analytics) cookies to track site usage. These can be safely blocked with adblock software and the service will continue to function normally.

 

Browser Fingerprint:

A hash code is determined on the browser instance that is being used to access the Company’s sites. This is done in order to identify cases where a user logs in from a new unrecognized device and to issue the user user a security notification that an unrecognized device has logged in with their credentials and they should either ignore this if they are aware of this activity or change their passwords immediately if they are not aware of this activity.

IP Addresses

When you visit IoTM’s websites, the Company collects your Internet Protocol (“IP”) addresses to track and aggregate non-personal information. For example, IoTM uses IP addresses to monitor the regions from which Customers and Visitors navigate the Company’s websites. And use the IP information in security warnings sent to customers about potentially suspicious logins.

We treat all this information as personal information and it is not shared with a third party.

5. Public forums, refer a friend, and customer testimonials

IoTM may provide bulletin boards, blogs, or chat rooms on the Company’s websites. Any personal information you choose to submit in such a forum may be read, collected, or used by others who visit these forums, and may be used to send you unsolicited messages. IoTM is not responsible for the personal information you choose to submit in these forums.

Customers and Visitors may elect to use a Company’s referral program to inform friends about the Company’s websites. When using such a referral program, the Company may request the friend’s name and email address. IoTM will automatically send the friend a one-time email inviting him or her to visit the Company’s websites. IoTM does not store this information.

IoTM may post a list of Customers and testimonials on the Company’s websites that contain information such as Customer names and titles. IoTM obtains the consent of each Customer prior to posting any information on such a list or posting testimonials.

6. Sharing of information collected

Business Partners

From time to time, IoTM may partner with other companies to jointly offer products or services. If you purchase or specifically express interest in a jointly-offered product or service from IoTM, the Company may share Data About IoTM Customers collected in connection with your purchase or expression of interest with our joint promotion partner(s). IoTM does not control our business partners’ use of the Data About IoTM Customers we collect, and their use of the information will be in accordance with their own privacy policies.

Third Parties

This Privacy Statement sets forth the information IoTM collects on the Company’s websites and the information we share with third parties. IoTM does not authorize the collection of personal information by third parties through advertising technologies. IoTM’s websites do not contain any deployed advertising technologies. Nor do we share personal information with any third parties collected from the Company’s websites, except as provided in this Privacy Statement.

Compelled Disclosure

IoTM reserves the right to use or disclose information provided if required by law or if the Company reasonably believes that use or disclosure is necessary to protect the Company’s rights and/or to comply with a judicial proceeding, court order, or legal process.

The Company primarily stores Data About IoTM Customers and Data that customers granted IoTM access to in the European Union.  

8. Communications preferences

IoTM offers Visitors, Customers, and Attendees who provide contact information a means to choose how the Company uses the information provided. You may manage your receipt of marketing and non-transactional communications by clicking on the “unsubscribe” link located on the bottom of the Company’s emails. Additionally, you may send a request to support@iotm.mobi .

9. Correcting and updating your information

Customers may update or change their registration information by editing their user or organization record. To update a user profile, please login to http://app.iotm.mobi , login and manage your account and/or user information in the appropriate sections of the IoTM web application. To update Qualification Information or have your registration information deleted, please email support@iotm.mobi or login to http://app.iotm.mobi and remove your account. To discontinue your account and to have information you maintained in the Services deleted, please  login to http://app.iotm.mobi and remove your account or email support@iotm.mobi.  Requests to change, or delete your information will be handled within 30 days.

10. Customer Data

IoTM Customers may electronically submit data or information to the Services for hosting and processing purposes (“Customer Data”). IoTM will not review, share, distribute, or reference any such Customer Data except as provided in the IoTM End User License Agreement (“EULA”), or as may be required by law. In accordance with the EULA, IoTM may access Customer Data only for the purpose of providing the Services or preventing or addressing service or technical problems or as may be required by law.

11. Security

IoTM uses robust security measures and best practices to protect Data About IoTM Customers and Data which customers granted IoTM access to.

12. Changes to this Privacy Statement

IoTM reserves the right to change this Privacy Statement. IoTM will provide notification of the material changes to this Privacy Statement through the Company’s websites at least thirty (30) business days prior to the change taking effect.
